We had such a great day today unwinding from the final exams.
We went for a nice brisk walk in the morning all the way to the Art Museum. We had a scavenger hunt in the park, and the Yellow House was the quickest to find all the objects, but all teams did a great job searching.
Snack time was followed by some time in the sand searching for house team colored shapes. Again, the Yellow House found theirs first, but it was fun for everybody playing in the sand.
We then went into the museum to see a couple of exhibits, share some laughs, and enjoy each other's company.
In the afternoon, the students attentively watched "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas," presented by our Student Council.
***Parents should have received a gift from DISK today, as it was sent home with one of your children.***
HOMEWORK:
1) You should keep on reading books and keeping track of it in your log, however, you do not need to hand it in until January.
REMINDERS:
- we will have our Pizza Party tomorrow
- Mass and Christmas performance rehearsal is tomorrow morning
- Friday's Christmas performance should begin around 9:45am, please come if you can! You may arrive around 9:40am
- Please bring your school bag tomorrow as we will be doing some cleaning.
- Please return your spelling test booklet.
