This is the start of exam week, and the students have already completed one exam - Health.
In our other doings today, we:
- worked on our Science Final Project, and there are some really good animals made with the clay.
- used different ways to multiply when 10 is the factor.
- finished reading Young Thomas Edison, and made connections to the text and compared his education with our education.
- explained how human processes affect the environment. More specifically, we learned about conservation and what humans need to do to help climate change. The students had a debate of whether or not climate change was real.
HOMEWORK:
1) Math p. 52
2) Social p. 42
NOTICES:
- a revised Exam Schedule has been sent out, my apologies for any errors on the last one.
- attached to the exam schedule are the study guides for next week's exams. If you have any questions, please ask.
- The DISK teachers are involved in some ongoing action research on several topics this year. One research is on Reading Logs. Two surveys have been sent home (one for the student, one for the parents). If you could please participate in the research and complete the survey before Friday, December 11, that would be great, and appreciated very much. You do not need to put your names on the surveys. Thank you.
Wednesday - PE and Chinese
Have a wonderful Monday evening.
Mr. Yaremchuk
