It is now the month of May. That means we are in our last month of school for this year. Lots of hard work and fun remains as we wrap up the school year.

Today, our fun and hard work included:

Language Arts/Reading - sharing weekend activities, reading the new Journeys story, "Aero and Officer Mike," finding antonyms and synonyms.

Math - finding the perimeter of figures around the classroom.



Science - showing how some mixtures can be separated.



Social Studies - introducing how a business is started

HOMEWORK:
1) Math p. 115
2) LA - Word Work - please choose 5 spelling words and write an antonym for each word, and choose 5 different spelling words and write a synonym for each word

NOTICES:
- the ITBS results have arrived. A letter with a brief explanation, along with your child's scores have been passed out. If you have any questions, please let me know. Feel free to compare with last year's scores to see how well your child has improved, and in what areas.
- PE day tomorrow
