Language/Reading classes consisted of the Daily 5, and one of the rotations was Read to Someone where the students read the new story in Journeys - The Science Fair. Our focus lessons were: Use pictures throughout reading, using quotations in sentences, and we read an example of a Personal Narrative.
We practiced ways to divide by 9, and played a division game called Monster Race.
During Science we described parts of the water cycle and how it works, and continued taking observations for our weather experiment.
The students were able to see what it's like to be patriotic as we looked at different examples of patriotism, including country anthems, and patriotic symbols of Taiwan.
