On this day, the students worked hard completing numerous tasks.
The focus lesson in the Daily 5 today was choosing a topic for writing a personal narrative. This personal narrative will be counted towards part of the final exam in Language Arts and Spelling. After the students completed their Daily 5 rotation, they wrote the quiz on Capitalization and Punctuation.
For Math, we did some problem solving and then played division review games.
Science consisted of observing the weather and recording it in our notebooks. The students also began a small project on drawing the water cycle. They will be presenting/explaining it next week.
Today is a special day for 2 of our Terrific Third grade boys - Nathan and Ayrton. Coincidentally, their birthday is the same day. In order to share the sugar celebration, Nathan brought in some cookies today, and tomorrow Ayrton will be sharing his treats.

NOTICES:
- tomorrow is Class Picture Day - we will be taking class and individual pictures for the yearbook. Please wear your formal uniform, and bring your casual uniform to change into later for PE.
- the Final Exam schedule and Study Guides were handed out today. Please take a look and feel free to ask any questions.
