The students had a fun day today doing the following:
- Spelling test (ok, maybe the least fun)
- Chinese New Year art (dragon puzzle, monkey dot art)
- in the cafeteria they did a little painting
- cleaning the classroom
- Chinese New Year dance performance - excellent job everybody, you looked great!
HOMEWORK:
1) Social Studies workbook p. 20-21
2) Social Studies Writing Assignment - students will see homework sheet for details, but basically they will write some paragraphs comparing Christmas and Chinese New Year. They can do some work each day.
3) Reading Response (optional) - if you hand in this homework, you will earn Dojo points
4) Reading Logs - you can earn a maximum of 5 Dojo points for Reading Logs
