I will also be giving you some information about myself, my teaching style, and some plans I have for the school year. I will be in my classroom to chat with all of you between 8:30am-9:15am.  After 9:15am, you will be encouraged to visit the minor subject teachers (Music, Chinese, PE, Computer, Art). Finally, we will all gather in the auditorium to end the morning.

Today, we had another busy day completing many activities:

  • Science - presented our graphs and completed text work
  • Math - reviewed the quiz
  • LA - began the drafting phase where students started to make sentences for their descriptive

2) Reading and Phonics Written Assignment - we read a story about a one room school today, their assignment is to imagine our school only had one room, and write about it. What problems would there be? They should be able to write at least 4 sentences.

NEW Spelling test for next week, Aug. 21 - depend, community, citizen, predict, observe, ruler, microscope, hundred, thousand, greater than

That's all for today. See you all tomorrow, or if you cannot attend, then have a great weekend!

I look forward to meeting all of you.
