Welcome to Grade three! I hope you all have had a terrific
summer. My name is Mr. Yaremchuk, and I will be your new teacher. I’m excited
about the opportunity to get to know you, and I’m looking forward to a happy
and productive school year.
The web address for our class blog is: http://eliayaremchuk.blogspot.com
This blog will be used for all schedules, information,
assignments, and homework. I will also
use the blog for posting photographs of class activities and use it as a way of
keeping you informed and up-to-date for activities for school life. The Communication Book will only be for
material related to specific students (your child).
The start of a new year holds the promise of new discovery and
learning, as well as the prospect of personal growth in all areas. We will have
lots of fun reading, writing, and learning new things together.
Students are asked to bring the following supplies to
school:
§
Pencil case (pencils - please note: non-mechanical
pencils preferred, erasers, ruler, pencil
sharpener)
§
Crayons, markers, and coloring pencils (ex.
water color pencils)
§
Scissors and glue
§
Five notebooks
§
Tissue paper for bathroom use
§
Towel / handkerchief
§
Waterbottle
§
Healthy snack and water (no junk food, chocolate
bars, or soft drinks)
§
Please also be reminded that:
§
Students are required to wear full school
uniform and black shoes to school every day (P.E. uniform and shoes should be
brought to school in a bag) No soccer cleats.
§
Students should be prompt in coming to school no
later than 8:30 a.m. every day.
§
Students will be ready and waiting to go home at
4:00-4:15 p.m. everyday.
Furthermore, I would like to collect $4,000 NTD from every
student for class fund. A detailed
spending list will be provided at the end of the school
year.
So much happens in third grade! Because of this, the year
will be full of important transitions. I believe that a good parent-teacher
relationship is necessary for maximum school success and I would like to thank
you in advance for your full support and commitment.
Once again, welcome to Grade 3. I look forward to having a
great year with everyone.
Sincerely,
Mr. Elia Yaremchuk
