Merry Ukrainian Christmas!

This morning was very busy as we continued to learn writing strategies and comprehension strategies for the Daily 5.
For Science the students worked in small groups to try model erosion by using an ice cube (glacier) and clay (land). They observed how the glacier can change the land.

Today in math, we used different strategies to multiply when 7 is the factor.

We ended the day by building more stamina in the Read to Self portion of the Daily 5, and reviewed past lessons.

HOMEWORK:
1) Math p. 58
2) Work on Writing - this is a part of the Daily 5, but students can write anywhere from 7-12 sentences.
