Thank you for all the wonderful food that was brought to the Family Lunch on Thursday. The meal was fantastic! We heard nothing but good things about the Language Festival, and I am super proud of the Terrific Third Graders for their efforts and performance in, "A Turkey Takes a Stand."
Today, after Assembly, we learned how natural disasters can shape the environment, and discussed the effects it can have on people as well.
In Math, we began a new unit on Multiplication. We began by using repeated addition to model multiplication. For review, the students can practice counting up to 30 by 2's, 3's, 4's and 5's.
We began a new story in Reading, and it is a biography about Thomas Edison. We learned some new key vocabulary words as well.
In ECA, we tried to complete our food chain work for Science, which also includes answering p. 179-180. If it was not completed in class, then it is now homework.
