Nov. 19, 2015

Good evening everyone! Today was a very special day for one of our students (keep reading to find out who).

This morning in Language Arts, the students completed the quiz on verbs.

In Science, we reviewed the different parts of a food chain, watched a short video about food chains, watched a crazy roadrunner catch a deadly snake, and complete a short activity in the text.

For Math, we used probability to decide if a game is fair or not. I'm happy to announce that I beat every student in the game, "Heads I win, Tails you lose."

We also practiced for the Language Festival.

Our Reading and Phonics class did not happen as the students rehearsed for next week's Mass, and the teachers had a Professional Development meeting.

HOMEWORK:
- Spelling Tic-Tac-Toe - choose one thing to complete from each column. (Spelling Test tomorrow)
- Journeys p. 97

NOTICES:
- It was Katie's birthday today, so we celebrated by gobbling down a beautiful cake, and accompanied it with singing, and watching a short movie. Happy Birthday Katie!!!

I hope you all have a great evening!

Mr. Yaremchuk
