In Social Studies this morning, we saw what satellites are and what they do, and how they can provide geographers with information.
The math quiz is tomorrow, so the students got to review by making a probability game, ensuring it was fair, and calculating the probability of each outcome.
In Reading, we made connections among stories by comparing and contrasting different Jack and the Beanstalk stories.
ECA - Language Festival practice.
HOMEWORK:
1) Journeys vocabulary sentences - please use each vocabulary word on p. 222-223 and write a sentence of at least 6 words.
2) find your costume (clothes, props) or whatever you need for the Language Festival. I have messaged every students' parent(s) with ideas, but if you have any questions, please let me know. If anyone has a toy microphone or hammer that we could borrow for our show, please bring it to school tomorrow.
NOTICES:
- Language Festival is on Thursday - the show will begin around 10am, please arrive accordingly.
- After the Language Festival, we will have lunch until 12:45pm, and then the students will be dismissed for the long weekend. Please pick your child(ren) up at 12:45pm on Thursday.
- Math and Reading quiz tomorrow
- Science quiz on Wednesday
