Welcome to another Friday. These weeks just fly by. Supposedly next Friday will be a lot cooler than today.
Our Terrific Third Graders had a cool day ourselves, with some classes getting moved around to break up the usual Friday routine.
First, Spelling Test, and then to the gym to practice for the Language Festival.
After our practice, we had Computer class.
Before Lunch, we had Math and Science. For Math, we used the results of experiments to predict outcomes.
Science consisted of students taking turns answering questions during a review lesson.
No core subjects in the afternoon, but the students did have Chinese, PE, Dance, and Electives.
HOMEWORK:
1) Science p. 176-178 (it can help you to start studying for the quiz on Wednesday)
2) Reading Log Worksheet - double sided, but only page 1 needs to be completed. Please write about the best or worst part of the story you read, and be sure to explain why it's the best or worst. Only 1 time.
3) Language Festival costume (please read below for more details)

There will NOT be a Spelling Test next week.
NOTICES FOR NEXT WEEK:
- The Language Festival is on Thursday. Everyone is welcome to come and watch this fun event, so feel free to arrive at 10:00am. We will enjoy a Family Lunch after the Language Festival to commemorate Thanksgiving on Friday (which is a holiday - no school).
** IMPORTANT**
I will message you about what our students need to wear, bring, or make for their part in the Language Festival. If they could bring what they need by Wednesday for rehearsal, that would be great. Your help is appreciated. Thank you.
