Happy Birthday Fiona!!!!  Thank you very much for bringing in the cake to share with the class. They chose to have a small lunch and then come up for dessert and enjoy the delicious cake. Everybody loved it. Thanks again.



We did only two rounds of the Daily 5 this morning. We identified the problem and solution of stories, and reviewed for the Journeys quiz tomorrow on Yonder Mountain.

We reviewed the Math quiz on measurement, and began the new Geometry unit. We identified and compared lines, line segments, rays, and angles.

Social Studies consisted of more budgeting. We referred to our Futura booklet and played a simulation game to see what other sudden earnings or expenses we must add or subtract to our budget.

In ECA, the students prepared for the Science Fair and practiced what they will say during the presentations.

NOTICES:
- please hand in your Scholastic order forms
- also, please hand in your registration form for next school year indicating if your child will/will not attend
- Journeys quiz tomorrow on Yonder Mountain

SCIENCE FAIR UPDATE:
- Grades 1-3 will be setting up and practicing on Thursday morning. After lunch, they will be judged. Parents and other students are welcome to view the displays from 3:00pm - 4:00pm.
- Friday is the Grades 4-7 turn, but students and parents can view the displays from 2:30pm-3:15pm. The Awards ceremony will begin at 3:15pm.
- Thank you for all your hard work at home with your child's experiment and display. They all look fantastic!
