Apr. 8, 2016

Another toasty day out there, I hope you get to enjoy it over the weekend.

Today we used amazing adjectives to describe characters of stories. We then thought of how to describe the setting of a story. Finally, we showed what goes into the beginning, middle, and end of the plot.

For Science, we completed the test.

We used a calendar to talk about when events happen and on what days for Math, and played a sticky ball game.

HOMEWORK:
1) Math p. 86
2) Language Arts handout - completing the outline of characters, setting, and plot

New Spelling Words (test on Thursday)
repeatedly, uselessly, dreadfully, sadly, tedious, groundhog, usefully, pleased, happily, producer, examined, consumer, fondly, income, steep, industry, pausing, rugged, peak, mist

NOTICES:
- Field Trip pictures are finally up, sorry for the delay
- We will be discussing the display for the Science Fair next week

Have a great weekend.

Mr. Y
