Welcome back, and we have already completed one day of this short week. It was a beautiful day outside today, and I think that the summer weather might be here to stay.

Today's classroom activities included:

- Language Arts, Reading - shared our long weekend stories, discussed characteristics of a story, made pronouns and verbs agree, and practiced how to recognize story elements
- Math - reviewed elapsed time with a video and some activities
- Science - discovered the effects of tide, and presented their season posters by sharing why they have a favorite season, and we also did some review work
- Social Studies - introduced the new unit on economics, students acted out services people can provide customers



HOMEWORK:

1) Eng. p. 102 or 103
2) Science p. 337-338

NOTICES:

b) Science test on Friday
