We have completed over half the week, and it was another busy, busy day today.

1) Language Arts - made sentences, and found the subject and predicate for each
2) Science - continued to work on the straw towers - almost finished!! All groups are doing a great job.
3) Math - we reviewed yesterday's test, and students will take it home to finish corrections. Please return the test. We then began Unit 2 on addition.
4) Reading - reviewed the VCe rule and played a phonics game.
5) Social Studies - compared and contrasted a globe and a map.
6) We completed our holiday celebration posters!!

• Math worksheet and also Math test corrections
• English p. 9 and 11
• Reading Log

Reminders:
- Reading quiz tomorrow on the vocabulary from The Trial of Cardigan Jones.
- Spelling quiz Friday.
- Language Arts quiz Friday (nothing major, but it will cover subjects, predicates, types of sentences, proofreading, and a small writing component).
