We began the day with Show and Tell and it was awesome. All students had something to show and it was great to hear all other students ask so many questions about the item.
  
   
 
In Science we began to learn about the design process engineers need to follow when they need a solution to a problem. Students will follow this design process in a fun project that will start next week.

Everyone was rich $$$$$ as we got to learn and play with money today in Math. Today's focus was on dollars, dimes, and pennies. I also sent home the Math quiz, can you please return it when you're finished reviewing. Thank you.

Reading and Phonics class began as I strolled in and announced we will have a pop quiz. Many students were worried, but they most certainly did a fine job. I was very proud of them all.
After the quiz, we learned about how to develop a first impression about characters, and each student had to present their first impression from a book.
  
 

 In Social, we reviewed a little bit, and then I described the project we will begin after the quiz. Students will work in groups to create a poster for a world famous celebration or holiday.

HOMEWORK: 

• Social Studies quiz tomorrow
• Social workbook p. 8
• Sentence writing: Choose 5 spelling test words and write a sentence of at least 6 words.

Reminders: tomorrow is PE day, so please wear your casual uniforms.
