Sept. 3, 2015

I hope you have all been having a wonderful week so far. It's been a pretty good one here in Grade 3.

We switched a couple things around today, and began with Reading and Phonics. We learned how to use details from a story to draw conclusions.
After Reading, we further examined the design process in Science and began discussions how technology has changed over time.
Next, we continued to learn about American money and played a game to help the students count.

Last, the students began to write their final copy of the descriptive that will be displayed in the classroom.

HOMEWORK:
a) Spelling test tomorrow
b) Science - draw 3 pictures of technology from its early days only (the now and future pictures will be completed later)
c) LA - finish writing good copy of descriptive and have it ready for publishing (display)

REMINDERS:
1) Bug Spraying is still on for tomorrow, so please pick up you child(ren) at 4pm.
2) PE and Dance day tomorrow. Please wear casual uniforms and appropriate shoes.
3) We will have the Fire Department showing us many things tomorrow at 9am until around 10:30am.
4) On Thursdays we have Music class, so please make sure the students bring in their recorders.

Thank you.

Have a great evening!
