Hello, everyone! Today was raffle day that the students were waiting for. We had 3 prizes (Minion socks, Ninja Lego Uno game, and and Uno Jenga game), to give away in the raffle. Students were able to cash in their hard earned Dojo points to put their name into the raffle. The lucky winners were: Grace (socks), Alpha (Uno), and Reila (Jenga). Congratulations to the students that had their name selected, and don't worry, the other names not picked still got a consolation prize.
This busy Wednesday we:
1) made irregular nouns plural in Language Arts
2) distinguished between complete and incomplete metamorphosis in Science
3) rounded numbers to estimate differences in Math
4) practiced the VCV pattern in Phonics
5) read the story of Robinson Crusoe
HOMEWORK: Firstly, thank you for doing your Reading Logs. Keep it up!!

Pizza Party on Friday. Since Quarter two has begun, I have taken off all the Dojo points from the beginning of the year and recorded them on my own computer and the students are still able to use them for rewards. The Dojo website now had the students start from 0 points again since yesterday. Time to start working hard towards our goal again, and earn perhaps another pizza party, or other reward we choose.
