Welcome to the last week of the first quarter!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

We had Assembly this morning and our President updated the current standings of the House system.

In Social, we reviewed the Q1 exam, and discussed any problems or questions. We also watched a short video about the Country Mouse and City Mouse to compare which community may be better to live in.

In Math, we reviewed the Q1 exam. We went over all the problems, and most of the questions. The students need to finish their corrections for homework.

In Health, the students completed the Computer Q1 exam.

In Reading, we reviewed the Q1 exam as well. Then, the students had to answer questions after listening to the story, "The Gruffalo's Child."

The students were made aware that their current classroom Dojo points percentage is getting them closer to a pizza party next week. The student's goal is to have 95% positive points, and they are sitting on 94% as of today. They have some work to do to get that number up to 95% by Thursday afternoon. I know they can do it. So get those Reading Logs in!!!

HOMEWORK:
1) Reading Log (this week will be the same as last week, one Dojo point for each night you complete it, and no grades will be given).
2) Complete all corrections in the 3 exams that were handed back (Social, Math, Reading).

NOTICES:
- Three Q1 exams have been sent home, please return them at your earliest convenience with a parent signature. 
- Thank you for beginning to return the Field Trip permission slip, and new electives forms.
- Students were given 2 handouts for the upcoming Spelling Bee. Please return the registration and fee if your child will enter.
