Today, we began with the usual spelling test, and then reviewed for the Chapter test on Tuesday.
For Science, we discussed plant adaptations, and in Math, we subtracted from zeros and played a dice game.

Next week Spelling Test words with an All Saints Day theme: zombie, costume, ghost, scared, which, witch, pumpkin, spider, vampire, monster, mummy, trick or treat
REMINDERS:
- Language Arts quiz on Tuesday, please review Unit 2 on nouns - more specifically: singular and plural nouns (the rules for making nouns plural), and singular and plural possessive nouns. The students will need to complete a short writing component.
- All Saints Day is next Friday - the morning will be classes as usual. We ask parents to pack costumes in a bag, and we will help the students change into the costumes after lunch. Parents are invited to come to school at 3pm to put any finishing touches on the costume (if needed), and stay for the parade which will commence at 3:20pm. Again, if you are unsure if your child's costume is appropriate or not, please ask.
